Andrea is a thoughtful, practical career services leader with 20+ years of experience working with individuals and organizations in transition. She has coached and counseled associates and partners in their continued legal careers, as well as lawyers moving to a career outside of the law. Andrea has developed customized services for women in transitioning careers, partners and senior counsel seeking an active retirement, or portfolio career.

Andrea has worked closely with large and small law firms and law departments in a variety of industries, to help them manage career transition situations and organizational consulting initiatives. Projects included off-site facilitation’s, executive coaching assignments, assessment of competencies and cultures, managing sensitive downsizing’s and providing management training for new groups of partners.

At Right Management, a large international career management firm, Andrea held the title of Regional Managing Principal. There, her responsibility was to grow, nurture and maintain key client relationships, many of them law firms and legal departments. She also lead a team of team of career management professionals, which included 50+ career consultants and 40+ administrative and para-professional staff. As Managing Director of Career Services with Partners International, Andrea focused her work on designing new career transition services to meet the needs of her key clients.

During her career, Andrea has provided training and programs to a wide variety of legal organizations, including the ABA, ALA, ACC. She has been asked to participate in the New York City Bar Career Counselor Referral program and provides career counseling services to Fordham Law Alumni, working closely with the school’s Career Planning Center. Andrea serves on the Dean’s Advisory Committee for Suffolk University Law School, where she is a charter member and is a member of the school’s Career Services Strategy Committee. Andrea has been the designated career consultant for Suffolk University alumni in New York City for the past ten years. She has been active with the National Council for Research on Women, National Association of Women Lawyers and has served on two non-profit boards, including the Arthritis Foundation’s Northeast Region; she is active in LGBT networks, including the Empire State Pride Agenda. Andrea has been a panelist and speaker at legal industry seminars on topics such as: Effective Networking, Evaluating Performance and Giving Feedback, Managing Difficult Situations, Managing Sensitive Terminations, and Managing Large-Scale Reductions in Force.

Andrea has her B.A., cum laude, from Boston University and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She is a member of the Massachusetts and Pennsylvania bars and is an active member of the legal community.
